Art Can Change the World

Some of the Earth's greatest landscapes are threatened by climate change. Through images, words and other forms of artistic expression, we use art to educate about wildfire and activate communities to get prepared.

Throughout the Pacific Northwest, we are bringing a no-cost traveling art show of 13 original oil paintings by Oregon artist, Ann Ruttan with the hope of educating and inspiring people to get involved in preparing for and mitigating the impacts of wild fire. The show is not for sale and has been created for the sole purpose of sharing freely with the public.

We are honored to work with other artists along the way, such as Oregon writer Apricot Irving, pairing excerpts from her essay “Love and Fire” with Ann’s original oil paintings.
